Yeah, ok. What are these guys trying to do, run up against Nile for wickedly long song titles? Perhaps, but whatever the case is, if you’re a Nile fan, you may just feel right at home here as well because Torture Ascendancy 1307 are just as brutal, if not more. They’re a blackened death metal act right from my home-town of Lancaster, PA. Later this month, they’re prepared to release a fiery fistful of gut-churning songs titled D.E.M.O.S.
But what’s nice is that they’re prepared to offer up the final track from said release ahead of time. “In The Womb Of Dissolving Abyss Exists The House Of Everlasting Inferno” is as hot and disgusting as the sentence-long title suggests. The shrieks in this sound like the evil serpent himself is hissing them, and when they don’t, they’re just more guttural than ever. Blast beats litter this thing from start to finish, which back up tremolos and chugs that reach roller-coaster speeds. I couldn’t even begin to give you the specifics on what the lyrics are about, due to the level of brutality. But if I had to guess, it probably has something to do with a house of everlasting inferno that exists in the womb of dissolving abyss (I don’t know, just a random shot in the dark).
On a serious note though, you can hear this beast of a song by punching that link up yonder, as you descend into a hellish pit. Hope you brought your sunscreen! D.E.M.O.S. will be out on July 17th, 2019 and can be pre-ordered right here!
